BOISE, Idaho — West Ada School District was on the ballot Tuesday, seeking a $50 million School Plant Facilities Reserve Fund Levy.
For the levy with 43.3% of the vote.
Against the levy with 56.7% of the vote.
55% or more of the electors of the district voting was required to pass the levy. The levy, which is intended to help with building and maintenance costs for the school district, begins July 1, 2023 and continues through each year in the amount of up to fifty million dollars for ten years through fiscal year ending June 30, 2033.
According to the ballot the average cost of the proposed levy is a tax of $89.45 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value, per year, based on current conditions.
