2. No One Would Tell (2018)

The movie is based on a true story of a teenage girl. It stars Shannen Doherty, Matreya Scarrwener, Callan Potter, and others.

Directed by Gail Harvey, this drama movie is an actual portrayal of a 16-year-old Massachusetts high school student Jamie Fuller who murdered his 14-year-old girlfriend Amy Carnevale.

Things go wrong when Amy breaks up with him, so he lures her into the jungle and stabs her 10 times, and slashes her throat.

This movie is an update of a 1996 movie with the same name Candace Cameron Bure, Fred Savage, and Michelle Phillips.

3. Girl In The Basement (2021)

Based on the infamous true story of Elisabeth Fritzl. The movie stars Judd Nelson, Stefanie Scott, Jake Etheridge, and others.

Directed by Elisabeth Rohm, this crime thriller movie is a replica of the true story of Elisabeth, who was locked and abused by her father Josef for 24 years (from 1984 to 2008) in Austria. She gave birth to seven children. 

Similarly, Sarah was locked in her basement by her father, Don because she wished to visit her boyfriend on her birthday.

She was locked up for 20 years with constant mental and physical abuse and became a mother to three of her father's children.
