During their conversation about appearing on Running Man, V mentioned their intention to do it "before they have to go this year." This statement has led ARMY to speculate that it could be a subtle indication of their upcoming military enlistment, as there is still no confirmation regarding the military service of the remaining BTS members, such as V, Jimin, RM, and Jungkook.
