Bad Sisters Plot
It is even funnier to see women plotting murder on our screens this time. The Sharon Horgan-written television series Bad Sisters, which is set in Dublin, Ireland, follows the lives of the Garvey sisters, Eva (Sharon Horgan), Becka (Eve Hewson), Ursula (Eva Birthistle), Bibi (Sarah Greene), and Grace (Anne-Marie Duff), who are connected by the untimely death of their parents. Each sister fits neatly into a caricature created by social norms: Eva is the oldest and took charge of raising her sisters after their parents passed away; Grace is a devoted wife with a strict husband; Ursula is a nurse who is unhappy in her marriage and seeks solace in an extramarital affair with her photography teacher; Bibi is the impulsive, eye-patch-wearing woman who comes across as a hardened misandrist; and Becka is the innocent.
