The highly anticipated Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Year 3 Split 1 Playoffs is finally here, bringing together the best teams from around the world to crown a global champion for the ultimate bragging rights. From 2-5 February 2023, players will converge at the Copper Box Arena in London, United Kingdom, for a weekend of intense and thrilling esports action.
The tournament is the first S-tier competitive event of the season, boasting a mammoth prize pool of over $1 million. As a result, the stakes are high, and the competition will be fierce as teams race to claim the lion's share. How To Watch ALGS 2023 Split 1 Playoffs
To watch the ALGS Year 3 Split 1 Playoffs, viewers can tune in to the official Apex Legends Twitch channel, embedded below. A simulcast will also be broadcast live, with on-demand videos later available, on the official ALGS YouTube channel. These channels will broadcast the tournament live, offering fans a front-row seat to all the action as it unfolds.
Note: Viewers can watch the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs in Japanese, Thai, Mandarin, and Portuguese through alternate language broadcast partner channels.
ALGS 2023 Split 1 Playoffs - Schedule & Format
The ALGS Year 3 Split 1 Playoffs is divided into three stages: Group Stage, Bracket Stage, and Finals. Matches will be played on World's Edge and Storm Point. The Group Stage will take place 2-3 February from 17:00 GMT, with 40 teams split into four groups of ten. Each team will play 18 games in the Group Stage, and the top 20 teams will move on to the Winners Bracket, while the other 20 will start in the Losers Bracket Round 1.
The Bracket Stage on 4 February at 10:00 GMT will feature one six-game series in the Winners Bracket and two six-game series in the Losers Bracket, with the top ten teams from each advancing to the Finals on 5 February at 12:00 GMT. This stage will feature 20 remaining teams using the Match Point format, with the top ten from the Winners Bracket receiving Advance Starting Points. The winner will be the first team to win a match after reaching the minimum total points of 50 in the Finals, with the remaining teams ranked by total Finals points.
